If you truly are reformed and play enough games daily, I am confident that you should be able to easily reach honor level 2 with the time you have left until the split end. The last time I was chat restricted, I managed to unlock my honor and reach honor level 2 within a month of being punished. You still have 4 months until Split 1 ends.

Depending on the severity of the behavior, penalty can be (1) slower progress towards honor, (2) Chat Restriction and demoted to Honor Level 1, or (3) 14-Day Ban and demoted to Level 0. Since you're demoted to Level 0, you're going to have to show continuous good behavior over a period time before you will make progress towards your honor again.

The client is really bad compared to 5-6 years ago, and it's amazing they don't fix it, but anyway, I think I've found a solution to this problem. Go to Settings in the client and tick "Close client during game" and then restart it. It worked for me. Hope it helps.
